The sentenced for the former Corning fire lieutenant accused of selling heroin was handed down Monday.Thomas Margeson was originally charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance back in September. But, he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge, and was sentenced to five years of probation.Margeson was initially placed on paid leave, with a retirement of January 31 of this year, as part of an agreement between the city and firefighters union.
