The man known as the ‘travelling thief’ has been captured in Corning. 61-year-old Donald Fike was found driving a Nissan Xterra with stolen Florida license plates. Fike is currently wanted in Arizona for a parole violation. He is also wanted in Oklahoma for property theft. He also stole a purse from a Sunoco customer in the Town of Dickenson and broke into a vehicle in Vestal. Fike was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property. Additional charges are anticipated from Vestal, the Broome County Sheriffs Office, and the Pennsylvania State Police.
