Chemung County Executive Christopher Moss has closed all schools in the county effective at the end of classes on Monday, March 16, to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. The schools will be closed until Monday, April 14.
Moss said students, teachers and staff will go to their schools on Monday to prepare for the closing through the end of the scheduled spring break.
