A Washington, Pennsylvania woman is facing charges after she posed as a licensed practical nurse at nine healthcare facilities in Pennsylvania, including one in Bradford County.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, 39-year-old Nicole Womack is charged with corrupt organizations, endangering the welfare of care, unlawful use of a computer, identity theft, forgery, theft by unlawful taking and other related crimes.
Police said Womack used the name Shannon Armstrong to work at the Sayre Health Care Center for two days. According to the Sayre Health Care Center, she was hired by the All Staff Agency and sent to work at the local facility. She was rated with a poor performance after working three shifts.
Womack is accused of submitting fraudulently signed documents and creating a false LLC to gain employment.
The Pennsylvania State Police is working with the Department of Health, Department of State, and multiple district attorneys and states in the ongoing investigation.
Investigators confirmed Womack used the following aliases in various parts of the state:
- Shannon Nicole Parham
- Shannon Nicole Abiola
- Shannon Nicole Armstrong
- Shannon Abiola-Parham
- Shannon Nicole Grimes
- Shannon Nicole Womack
- Shannon Nicole Lawson
- Shannon Nicole Lethco
- Shannon Nicole Robinson
- Shannon Lee Lawson
