The Towanda Riverfest kicks off today in downtown Towanda.
The annual event will run through Saturday and features an opening parade, live music, rides, games, food and fireworks.
The opening parade will begin tonight at 5:30 and wrap up with a ceremony on the main stage.
The midway will open at 6 and the Wyalusing Jazz Band is set to perform at 7 on opening night.
