One man was taken to the hospital after a stabbing on Monday night in Elmira.
Elmira Police Officers responded to the areas of Madison Avenue and East Third Street at around 12:24 a.m. on Monday for a report of an assault victim.
A victim was located with a serious stab wound to his neck. He was transported to the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre for treatment.
According to police, the assault happened on the 600 block of East Third Street.
