A Steuben County man has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a child for several years.
According to the New York State Police, 35-year-old Campbell resident Allen Jermone has been charged with rape, course of sexual conduct against a child, strangulation and other related charges.
The state police said Jerome was arrested after a 15-year-old had disclosed the ongoing abuse to the New York State Child Abuse Hotline.
An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.
The investigation is ongoing.
