A New York State Trooper was injured in a car accident on Friday morning in Endwell.
According to the state police, the accident occurred at around 8:10 am on State Route 17C near the intersection of Chaumont Drive.
A silver sedan failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn into the Town of Union Office Building parking lot and crashed into the trooper’s car.
Both cars sustained heavy damage. The trooper sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The driver of the sedan was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
