The victim in Sunday’s shooting at the Centertown Parking Garage in Elmira has died.
According to the Elmira Police Department, 46-year-old Elmira resident Joshua A. Tappan was originally listed in critical condition following the incident, but later passed away from his injuries.
While no arrests have been made at this time, Elmira Police reiterated that Sunday night’s shooting does not appear to be a random act and there does not seem to be a threat to the general public.
