A man was arrested after he allegedly sprayed someone in the face with bear spray in Ithaca.
According to the New York State Police, Arthur L. Stewart was charged with misdemeanor unlawful possession of a noxious matter following the incident.
Troopers responded to Winston Drive in the Town of Ithaca for a report of a dispute. An investigation revealed a person was sprayed with bear spray in a staircase in between apartments.
Stewart is accused of intentionally spraying the victim in the face with bear spray.
He was arraigned in Tompkins County on the misdemeanor charge.
