Several people have been charged following a burglary at a home in Big Flats last weekend.
According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, 18-year-old Dayton Bashore and 22-year-old Dustin Bashore, both from Elmira, 18-year-old Schoharie resident Thiago Dornelio and a 16-year-old from Elmira have all been charged with third degree burglary.
Deputies were called for a reported burglary in progress at a home on Brookline Drive in Big Flats on Sunday.
The four suspects were located in a vehicle and arrested.
Dornelio and the 16-year-old were also charged with fourth degree grand larceny and criminal trespass. They are also facing charges in connection with a theft from a home on nearby Hazlewood Avenue.
