A 35-year-old man has died following a house fire in Steuben County.
The fire occurred just before 11 p.m. on Saturday night on Warden Street in the Village of Bath.
A 35-year-old man was found inside the home. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The victim has been identified as Derek J. Fisher.
Two Bath Police Officers and a Steuben County Sheriff’s Deputy were treated for smoke inhalation following the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
