SAYRE, Pa. — A Sayre man is in jail facing charges related to the alleged assault of a child.
Police say 63-year-old Keith Chapman is charged with indecent assault of a person less than 16, indecent assault, and corruption of minors.
According to court documents, Chapman is accused of inappropriately touching a female child inside a bedroom at his home on January 3, 2026.
Authorities say the child later reported the incident to her mother, who then contacted police.
Chapman was charged on March 10 and arraigned on March 16.
