An Athens man who was arrested by the Bradford County Drug Task Force last year is now facing federal charges.
According to court documents, 43-year-old Chad Michael McLinko is facing three counts of possession with intent to distribute meth in connection with three alleged incidents in the fall of 2025.
McLinko was previously charged with several similar crimes by the Bradford County Drug Task Force and remanded on $1 million bail.
McLinko pleaded not guilty in federal court on April 9. He will remain in federal custody until the conclusion of the case without the possibility of pretrial release.
According to the Morning Times, a decision will be made by Bradford County District Attorney Richard Wilson following the federal case on how to proceed with McLinko’s local charges.
