A 20-year-old Ithaca man has been arrested for murder following a stabbing incident over the weekend.
According to police, Damian Stewart has been charged with second degree murder after he allegedly stabbed 19-year-old Breanne Keane, who later died from her injuries.
Police were called to an apartment on Triphammer Road in Cayuga Heights at around 2 p.m. on Saturday for a reported stabbing incident.
Stewart was arrested at the scene. He was remanded to the Tompkins County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
