The annual Valley summer concert series are set to begin over the next few weeks.
The Athens Business Association will kick off its Concerts in the Park this Thursday with Diana and The Crew. The concert will begin at 6 pm at Teaoga Square Park in Athens Borough.
Next Monday, the Waverly Recreation Summer Concert Series will return to the Waverly Glen Park. The first concert will be held from 6:30 to 8 pm on June 1 with Joe Lopreste taking the stage at the Glen.
Finally, the 41st annual William S. Pierce Memorial Sayre Summer Concert Series will begin on Wednesday, June 17. Shows will begin at 6:30 pm on Wednesdays in Howard Elmer Park.
Overall, there will be a total of 32 concerts this summer in the Valley.
