A Montour Falls man has been arrested in connection with two burglaries in the village.
The New York State Police have charged 27-year-old Bradley Smith with two counts of burglary and one count of petit larceny.
Troopers responded to a report of a burglary on Canal Street at around 2:30 am on Tuesday, but the suspect had already left the scene.
Police later identified the suspect as Smith through surveillance footage and interviews. Evidence of a second burglary was also discovered.
Smith was arrested and remanded to the Schuyler County Jail on $40,000 bail.
