An inmate at the Chemung County Jail is facing a felony charge for assaulting another inmate.
According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, 37-year-old David J. McCullough was charged with assault in the second degree, a Class D felony.
The charges were filed after an alleged incident on Thursday, June 4 at the Chemung County Jail.
The investigation revealed that McCullough assaulted another inmate, causing serious physical injuries.
McCullough remains in the Chemung County Jail.
