A Wellsburg man is facing charges after he allegedly sent inappropriate images to minors on two separate occasions.
According to the New York State Police, 21-year-old Donavan Smith, also known as Donavan Sutton, has been charged with two counts of disseminating indecent material to minors, attempted use of a child in a sexual performance, attempted promoting a sexual performance by a child, promoting a sexual performance by a child and endangering the welfare of a child.
Smith is accused of sending sexual images to a 12-year-old during his time as a youth sports coach earlier this month.
The investigation revealed that Smith allegedly did the same with another victim who was younger than 17 years old.
Smith was sent to the Steuben County Jail, but has since been released on bail.
The investigation is ongoing.
