A Port Crane man is facing an attempted rape charge after police were tipped off by a self-described “predator hunter.”
According to Johnson City Police, 24-year-old Brian Hawley was planning on meeting with someone he believed was a 16-year-old boy.
Police received a tip about the meeting and arrested Hawley on Wednesday.
Hawley was charged with attempted rape in the third degree. He was arraigned and released.
