A 41-year-old Athens woman was arrested on drug and child endangerment charges following an incident last month.
According to Athens Township Police, Mindee Jo Roberts was charged with two counts each of intentional possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child, four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of manufacture, delivery or possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Police executed a search warrant on a home on Sutliff Road on July 7. Officers said the home was “in an extremely unsanitary and hazardous condition.”
According to police, the residence lacked adequate sleeping arrangements for the two children in the home.
Officers recovered 50.9 grams of methamphetamine, 28 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the home.
Roberts was remanded to the Bradford County Jail on $150,000 bail.
