Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital has received Titanium Recognition in the annual Donate Life Pennsylvania Challenge, the program’s highest level. Guthrie says the Sayre hospital was one of only 18 hospitals affiliated with the Center for Organ Recovery and Education in Pennsylvania and West Virginia to earn the distinction. The challenge recognizes hospital education and advocacy supporting organ and tissue donation. It is organized by the Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania with the state’s two organ-procurement organizations.
