A roughly $32 million affordable-housing development is complete on Grand Avenue in Johnson City. Homesteads on Grand has 72 apartments on a former industrial site, with income restrictions reaching up to 80 percent of the area’s median income. Twelve apartments include supportive services through the YWCA of Binghamton and Broome County. The project also includes accessible units and reused a former foundry property.
