An Elmira man has been charged in an investigation into catalytic converters cut from vehicles at a Big Flats business, according to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies charged 30-year-old Sean Ribble with felony counts of criminal mischief, grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property. The sheriff’s office said the charges followed its investigation into thefts from vehicles at the business.

Ribble was arraigned and sent to the Chemung County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bail, authorities said.

The charges are accusations. Ribble is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
