Waverly Man Sentenced to Ten Years in Prison

A Waverly man has been sentenced to ten years in prison for felony attempted rape. 37-year-old Wayne Wood will also serve ten years post-release supervision. The incident occurred on Broad Street in Waverly in May 2017.

Former NBA Player Bill Kenville Has Passed Away at 87

Former Syracuse Nationals player Bill Kenville has died at age 87. Kenville won an NBA championship with Syracuse in 1955. He had been a Binghamton resident since 1959. He was inducted in the Greater Binghamton Sports Hall of fame earlier this year.
