Elmira Resident Struck and Killed by Train

An Elmira man was hit by a train Sunday evening in Horseheads. According to police, twenty-year old Malachi Norwood was wearing earphones and may not have heard the train approaching. Norwood was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is continuing.
