Tompkins County Conducts Gun Buyback

The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office held a gun buyback event last Saturday. The event was intended to allow community members to voluntarily turn firearms in for cash value. The 25 long guns and 15 hand guns that were purchased will be destroyed. The final amount spent was $2,050.
