One person was killed in a car vs. motorcycle accident in Elmira on Saturday.
According to the Elmira Police Department, the accident occurred at around 2:10 p.m. at the intersection of the Clemens Center Parkway and Division Street.
The operator of the motorcycle, 26-year-old Hunter Squires of Elmira, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
