A vacant apartment building that was destroyed by a fire earlier this year in Corning has been torn down.
The fire occurred on Wall Street in Corning in the early morning hours of March 18th.
Most residents were able to escape safely, but a 68-year-old woman died in the fire.
The cause of the fire was determined to be an e-bike battery that ignited a first-floor apartment.
Crews worked Monday evening to demolish the building.
