Police in Ithaca were called to a business along Elmira Road after an exploded propane tank caused a man to suffer burns to his body. Saturday night, the unidentified man said he had been at a campsite in the area behind Fairground Memorial Parkway when a propane tank exploded and caused his tent to catch fire. The man then walked to the business to get help. He was transported to a trauma center by Bangs Ambulance.
