Broome County legislators voted unanimously to use $25,000 to fund local opioid awareness efforts. Broome County Executive Jason Garnar and the Broome County Health Department made the announcement on Monday. The funds will be available for any nonprofits, community agencies, municipalities and schools to help enhance or establish opioid overdose prevention efforts.
