A fire severely damaged a Maine home Sunday. The Town of Maine Fire Department responded to the fire at 795 Tiona Road around 1:15 p.m. According to the Fire Chief, four people were inside the home at the time of the fire, but all were able to get outside. Five other departments responded to help. Crews had the fire contained to the front bedroom and front porch within fifteen minutes. The fire burned through the roof of the house. The home sustained minimal smoke and water damage. The fire is still under investigation.
