A man was taken into custody after it was discovered that he had an active felony parole warrant. On Saturday, Broome County Deputy Jan Cower stopped a vehicle on Glenwood Avenue for an inspection violation. Upon further investigation, the driver was found with a suspended driver’s license, and the passenger had the active Felony Parole warrant. The passenger, 27-year-old Benjamin Fassett of Chenango, was taken to the Broome County Jail to await parole proceedings. The driver was issued traffic tickets.
