The New York Attorney General’s Office released body cam footage from the fatal officer-involved shooting in Vestal earlier this year.
The video shows the moments police fatally shot 38-year-old Eslam Hegazy on Feb. 25.
Vestal Police said Hegazy was holding a knife when officers arrived, and despite being told to drop his weapon more than 40 times and being tased multiple times, he continued to approach police with the knife.
Two officers fired shots at Hegazy, who was struck and transported to a local hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries.
