A Newark Valley man was killed in a single-vehicle crash late Friday night in the Town of Maine. According to state police, Jason Coyne was driving westbound on Fredericks Road when he lost control of his vehicle, and hit a large tree. Troopers said Coyne was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the car. Coyne was the only person in the car and police believe alcohol was involved. State Police ask anyone with information on Coyne’s whereabouts prior to the crash to call 607-775-1241.
