Multiple fire departments responded to a house fire Saturday on George Street in Owego. There were no injuries, but three people have been forced to find other shelter. Owego Taxi was also run out of the same home. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and the taxi service is still operating. Firefighters from Owego, Campville, Apalachin, Tioga Center, and Newark Valley assisted in the very frigid fire fight.
