A 51-year-old Athens man is facing charges after he allegedly threatened to kill five people earlier this month.
According to Athens Township Police, Richard E. Kithcart has been charged with five counts each of terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment, along with one count each of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.
Police were called to Glen Valley Road at around 9:15 pm on Aug. 1 for a report of someone in a red jeep threatening to kill people.
According to the Morning Times, Kithcart allegedly pointed a gun at the person who called police.
Kithcart is scheduled to appear before District Judge Larry Hurley on Sept. 8.
