The Broome County Arts Council is launching its 2027 United Cultural Fund campaign Thursday evening at the Phelps Mansion Museum in Binghamton.

The campaign kickoff, called the Art of Giving, runs from 5 to 7 p.m. on November 5. The council has set a $326,000 fundraising goal for the coming campaign.

New donations are eligible for a dollar-for-dollar match, with up to $30,000 available through the matching effort. The fund supports arts organizations, nonprofit projects and individual artists across Broome County.

The Arts Council says the 2026 campaign distributed $249,319. Seven major arts organizations received general operating support, while 14 smaller nonprofits and individual artists received project funding.

The United Cultural Fund is the Arts Council’s annual countywide fundraising and grant program. The council says the effort helps organizations sustain programming while giving smaller groups and independent artists a path to project support.

Campaign and donation information is available through the Broome County Arts Council’s United Cultural Fund page.
