A fire has destroyed a town highway barn, and all of its equipment. Crews were called to the Town of Lindley garage in Steuben County around 9 p.m. Saturday. The garage stored all of the town’s highway equipment, including plows and sand equipment. The fire chief says it was all destroyed. He estimates the losses at a few million dollars. Investigators are still looking into what sparked the fire.
