A SUNY Oneonta dorm damaged by fire will be reopening Friday morning. Flames tore through one of the suites in Matteson Hall. Students have been staying at a nearby Holiday Inn and will be shuttled back to their dorm midday Friday. No one was injured and the fire was ruled accidental. There was significant damage to the building’s electrical system. The third floor will remain closed for the rest of the semester.
