A serious accident in Schuyler County has left a motorcyclist in the hospital. State Police say the crash happened around 1 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Route 13 and Alpine Junction in the Town of Cayuta. They say a tractor trailer and motorcycle were involved in the crash. The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries to their lower body. There is no word yet on what lead up to the crash or if any tickets were issued.
