The Sayre School District is on a 2-hour delay this morning due to police activity on William Street. Police say they were called to a South Waverly home last night around 10:30 for a man holed up inside with firearms. Adjacent streets are closed including Pitney and Keystone. The SWAT team is surrounding the area, and as a result the Sayre School District decided to delay its opening today by 2-hours. We will bring you more information as it becomes available.
