A motor vehicle accident slowed traffic on Route 17, near Exit 65 in Owego yesterday. One-mile east of Exit 65 heading towards Apalachin, near DeGroat Road, a crash resulted in one car flipped upside down in the median, and a pickup truck spun around in the median. Traffic was reduced to the driving lane in that area for a couple of hours while the accident was cleaned up. State Police and the Owego Fire Department were on the scene.
