Just hours after he allegedly robbed a gas station, police caught the suspect stealing from another store. Police said 39-year-old Steven VanWinkle, robbed the Hess gas station on Glenwood Avenue at knifepoint early Saturday morning. He got away with cash and cigarettes. Later in the day, police found VanWinkle while responding to a larceny at the Family Dollar on Clinton Street. VanWinkle is charged with robbery and theft. There are no reports of any injuries in either case.
