A one car and two pedestrian accident took place last week on Glenmary Drive in Owego. 58-year-old Wayne Mashas of Owego was traveling northbound and struck two pedestrians that were walking southbound on the east shoulder of the roadway. 21-year-old Autumn Zendarski of Owego was hospitalized with serious injuries following the accident. Mashas was charged with failure to use due care for pedestrians. The Owego Fire and Owego EMS assisted at the scene.
