The Broome County Sheriff’s office is hoping a string of car larcenies comes to an end after making three arrests Monday. Deputies discovered stolen guns, drugs, laptops and money inside a vehicle that they pulled over in Chenango Bridge. They got the tip about the suspicious vehicle from a concerned citizen who noticed it in an area where there had recently been a rash of car break ins. 18-year-old Damian Wilmarth, 24-year-old Zeke Wilmarth, and 16-year-old James Wilson, were all arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property. The Broome County Sheriff’s office would like to remind the public to keep valuables secure by keeping their car and houses locked.
