Binghamton police are investigating a series of stabbings that sent three people to the hospital.
Around 12:30 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a stabbing victim. That victim went into surgery, but police say that person has since been released.
About three hours later, officers were called to Double Day Street, where two people were stabbed. They were both taken to an area hospital for surgery. They’re still recovering. Police have not released the names of any of the victims. They believe all three stabbings are related and their investigation is ongoing.
