Binghamton Police have arrested a man wanted for multiple crimes in the city. On Monday, police responded to a commercial burglary alarm at the Little Venice Restaurant at 111 Chenango Street in the City of Binghamton. An alarm at the restaurant was tripped, but the suspect was able to flee the scene before officers arrived. On Tuesday, Binghamton Police learned that an impounded motorcycle had been stolen from the Police Impound Yard on Jackson Street in Binghamton. Police were then able to arrest 44-year-old John Vail of Binghamton and charge him with both burglary in connection with the incident at the restaurant, as well as the stolen motorcycle. He was arraigned in city court and sent to the Broome County Jail. The investigation of both incidents is ongoing.
