Known for 15 years as Christie’s Grill, the corner building on Harry L. Drive will soon have a new name and style. Construction got underway Tuesday on what will be Food & Fire BBQ Taphouse. The restaurant will focus on American cuisine and southern barbecue. Food & Fire BBQ Taphouse is being built by PPM Hospitality. Christie’s Grill closed in early February. The former owner, Nick Ezzo, said his intention to sell was with the hope that another restaurant owner would step in. The new restaurant is expected to be opened in early November.
