The Tioga County Rural Ministry has received thousands of dollars in additional funding thanks to the Mildred Faulkner Truman Foundation. The foundation donated $10,000 to the rural ministry to help fund their 2013 holiday food program. The food program helps serve nutritionally balanced meals to those in need during the financially difficult holiday season. Last year, the Tioga County Rural Ministry was able to supply food for 201 families for Thanksgiving and 220 families for Christmas.
